The Growing Naturalist Mission

Look out your window. See that bird in the tree? With a dusty gray plumage and a rust-colored underbelly, you have just spotted an American robin! Congratulations, you are now a naturalist. A naturalist is simply someone who studies the natural world. Most of us start this way as children. We pause to observe an ant hill. We marvel at dandelions and their wonderfully wispy seeds. Now, we encourage nature study with our children to help them keep this wonder. Growing Naturalists is my way to help you fit nature study into your life!

Because the goal of the Master Naturalist program is to provide the community with educated volunteers, my content and workshops are all free.
